SAVANNAH MORNING NEWS: After the game, (Benedictine Head Coach Danny) Britt didn't mince words as he addressed his squad.
"My job is to get the best out of you, so I'm going to be pushing you hard," Britt said. "We need to be mature enough to play our game, and we didn't do that in the first half. We need to buckle up. I want you guys to celebrate and have fun -- we did win a region championship tonight -- but that's not our goal."
The defending Class 4A state champions, who have won eight region crowns in the last 10 years, are looking to make a run at another title, and they have the tools to do it.
