The City of Savannah has launched "Safer Together," a new public safety education and engagement initiative aimed at highlighting actions the city has taken to keep Savannah safe while empowering residents to play a role in enhancing community safety.

From July 15 to September 15, the City of Savannah will be asking residents to contribute to making the community safer by taking simple actions. One action will be featured each week on all City of Savannah social media platforms. During this initiative, city staff will also share these key messages at community and neighborhood meetings throughout the city.

A new webpage acts as a landing page to inform the public about all the individual programs available for engagement and enhancing community safety.

On the webpage, residents can find community engagement activities they can participate in, various emerging technologies they can engage with, as well as information on investments by the city in a targeted approach to law enforcement.
