The City of Savannah's Sanitation Department, in collaboration with Keep Savannah Beautiful, is extending an invitation to residents, businesses, and community organizations to join the 2025 Great Savannah Spring Community Cleanup. The event is scheduled to take place on Saturday, April 26, from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m.

This cleanup initiative, sponsored by Keep Savannah Beautiful, aims to enhance the city's appearance by removing litter and debris from various public spaces, including streets, parks, and neighborhoods. Individuals and groups wishing to take part are encouraged to register online by Friday, April 4. Volunteers who register will be provided with safety vests, gloves, and trash bags by the City to assist in their cleanup efforts. Students participating in the event may qualify to receive community service hours.

Additionally, the City urges residents and organizations to consider ongoing engagement through the Adopt-A-Spot program. This initiative allows participants to select a specific street, park, or public area in Savannah and commit to its upkeep throughout the year.
