Both lanes on Whitaker Street between Oglethorpe Avenue and Hull Street will close beginning at 9 a.m. on Monday, September 16, and will remain closed until Friday, September 27 due to stormwater drain repairs.

All vehicle traffic on Whitaker Street will be detoured at Oglethorpe Avenue while the section of the road is closed. The City recommends drivers plan their routes accordingly and avoid the intersection if possible.

City staff will provide an update to the public when available.
