The City of Savannah has announced that its water customers are not under a boil water advisory. This applies to those within the city limits and selected areas in unincorporated Chatham County on the city's water system. The announcement clarified that if residents receive a water bill from the City of Savannah or if their property is located within city limits and their landlord receives a city water bill, they are not subject to the advisory at this time.

"The City will notify customers if a change in the status occurs," stated the release.

The current boil water advisory affects only specific water systems managed by Water Utility Management. Residents seeking updates and impact information can find Water Utility Management on Facebook.

According to the City's Water Resources Department, there are no major issues with the city's drinking water supply system. The sewage system continues to function using a combination of generator power and grid power, with no significant problems reported.
