Savannah-Chatham athletes honored by Positive Athlete organization

For the ninth year in a row, the Positive Athlete organization has announced its State Award Winners for Georgia. Student-athletes from 30 different boys' and girls' high school sports have been recognized as the "Most Positive" in their respective categories. This year's awards saw participation from 33 public and private high schools, chosen from more than 6,000 nominations submitted by coaches, principals, athletic directors, teachers, and parents.

Among the winners this year are two students from Savannah-Chatham County Public Schools:

Jordan Haskell – Boys Track – Woodville Tompkins Technical and Career High School
