Last week, representatives from the Savannah Area Chamber and Access to Capital for Entrepreneurs (ACE) Women's Business Center gathered to celebrate the launch of 20 women-owned businesses. Attendees included Conni Reynolds and Tara Reese from the Savannah Area Chamber, who participated in the event marking the conclusion of the GoGal Program’s pilot phase. This program is focused on aiding women of color in Savannah with entrepreneurial aspirations.

The GoGal Program was developed through partnerships with Step Up Savannah and Start-Up Savannah. It provides resources, expert guidance, and a support network for aspiring business owners. The program's goal is to foster a more inclusive and vibrant local economy by assisting in the launch of new ventures.

Commenting on the initiative, the Chamber reiterated, "The Chamber is proud to support programs like GoGal that are making a meaningful impact in our community and helping drive equitable growth across the region."
