The City of Savannah is set to hold its annual budget retreat on November 20, 2024. The event will take place in the ballroom of the Savannah Civic Center from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. This retreat provides an opportunity for city staff to present the proposed budget for the upcoming year and address questions from the City Council.

Members of the public are invited to attend and observe both in person and online. Following this retreat, public hearings on the 2025 Proposed Budget and Revenue Ordinance will be held on November 26 and December 19.

The budget retreat will be available for live streaming through various platforms including the City's website, Facebook page, YouTube channel, and SGTV Comcast channel 8. Additionally, questions regarding the proposed budget can be submitted via email.

For those interested in reviewing the proposed budget or previous budgets, they are accessible online at savannahga.gov/budget or can be viewed in person at designated locations such as the Clerk of Council Office at City Hall and select Live Oak Public Libraries.
