The City of Savannah has introduced a Spanish translation service for its 311 help line, partnering with LanguageLine Solutions to provide real-time language assistance. Spanish-speaking individuals can now access this service by selecting option two on the main menu, which connects them with an interpreter from LanguageLine Solutions. The interpreter will facilitate communication between the caller and a City Customer Service Representative.

The 311 help line serves as a resource for residents and visitors seeking information or services related to city government operations. It is designed for non-emergency inquiries, while emergencies should still be directed to 911.

Calls to the 311 service can be made by dialing either 311 or 912-651-6565 at any time, although customer service representatives are available Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. In addition to phone calls, requests can also be submitted online or through the SAV311 Mobile App.

LanguageLine Solutions has been providing language access solutions since 1982 and offers various interpreting and translation services globally. The company works with over 40,000 professional linguists and serves clients including Fortune 100 companies and major hospital systems in English-speaking countries.
