The City of Savannah's Sanitation Department and Keep Savannah Beautiful are organizing the Fourth Annual Greek and Civic Cleanup Day on Saturday, March 29. The event will take place at the Liberty Community Center.

This initiative, sponsored by Keep Savannah Beautiful, serves as the opening for the 2025 Great Savannah Cleanup. This citywide day of service aims to unite residents, businesses, and local organizations in efforts to enhance the city's appearance. The main cleanup event is scheduled for Saturday, April 26, from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m.

Participants from local fraternities, sororities, civic organizations, and the Adopt-A-Spot program will focus their efforts on the Liberty City neighborhood. Their activities will include cleaning public spaces and removing litter and debris to create a more welcoming environment.

The City will supply safety vests, gloves, and plastic bags to assist volunteers in their cleanup tasks.

Students who participate can earn community service hours. Additionally, residents and organizations are encouraged to consider joining the Adopt-A-Spot program to maintain streets, parks, or neighborhoods throughout the year.

Event details are as follows:
