On April 5, Jon Burns recapped the activities of the Georgia House during the legislative session. "From cutting taxes, boosting literacy, protecting IVF and girls’ sports, strengthening school safety and increasing access to healthcare, the House delivered right up until the last minute of Day 40. Happy Sine Die!", he stated in his tweet.
Later the same day, on April 5, Burns publicly celebrated a personal occasion. "Please join me in wishing my wife and best friend, Dayle, a very happy birthday!", Jon Burns expressed in his post.
On April 7, Burns reflected on the legislative accomplishments achieved over the recent 40-day session. "Over the past 40 legislative days, the Georgia House delivered winning policy and real results for the people of Georgia.
