Registration is underway for the 2025 Mayor’s Small Business Conference, scheduled for May 7 at the Savannah Civic Center. Interested participants have until April 30 or until capacity is reached to secure a spot.

The event is organized by the City of Savannah’s Economic Development Department, in collaboration with Mayor Van R. Johnson, II. It aims to unite local business figures, entrepreneurs, and advocates for an entire day of workshops, networking, and business development prospects.

“Our unwavering commitment to small businesses is reflected in the strategic investments made by our Economic Development Department,” commented Mayor Van R. Johnson, II. He added, “The Mayor's Small Business Conference has become a cornerstone event for our business community—empowering entrepreneurs, fostering innovation, and strengthening our local economy. I’m thrilled to once again join Savannah’s small business leaders as we learn, collaborate, and celebrate their vital contributions to our city.”

Among the conference highlights are the 12th Annual State of Small Business presentation, a reverse trade show designed to link entrepreneurs with procurement opportunities, and a keynote address by Mr. Jay Bailey, President & CEO of the R.I.C.E. Center. The conference is a key part of the 2025 Savannah Small Business Week, which spans May 5 to 9.

Given the limited availability of spots, business leaders are urged to register soon at savannahga.gov/msbc.
