Power Restored

Update 4: Some areas have had power restored. Many areas will remain without power mainly due to power lines having to be fixed. Unknown timeframe but power company is working on it. Thank you to Coursey's Tree Company for coming out to help clear roadways.  

Update 3: Power Company has trucks out and working on getting the power restored as quickly as possible. 

Update 2: Public Works is out helping.  We have contacted the power company and they are also trying to get everything going again and power lines up.

Update 1: We have several blocked roads and residences that have been affected by fallen trees and tree limbs. Dispatch has been in contact with Public Works. No reported injuries. 

Due to weather conditions, we are experiencing heavy rain, down trees and power outages. If you notice any blocked roadways or downed power lines, please contact our dispatch center at 912-756-2105. Do Not attempt to move any power lines out of the road! If you can stay inside please do so as we have deputies and fire department out assessing roadways and neighborhoods.
