Día De Los Muertos or Day of the Dead

From November 2, 2022 post

Benedictine Military School Cadets in Mrs. Lee Brantley’s Spanish II classes completed a study on Día de los Muertos, or Day of the Dead, this week, culminating in decorating ceramic calaveras (skulls) in the style of Día de los Muertos. Day of the Dead is a holiday that originated with the Aztecs in Mexico and is celebrated on Nov. 1-2. It is a time set aside to honor loved ones who have passed and to cherish the happy times that were spent with them. The days coincide with our holidays of All Saints Day and All Souls Day. Special thanks to Mrs. Brantley for the photos. #thebc400
