Registration is now open for the 2024 Mayor’s Small Business Conference (MSBC) and events of Savannah Small Business Week, set to take place from April 29 to May 1 in Savannah, Georgia. The registration will remain open until April 22 or until capacity is reached.

Mayor Van R. Johnson, II expressed the city's commitment to small businesses, stating, “The City's historic dedication to small businesses is evident by our Economic Development Department's intentional investment of energy and resources to support our small business economy.”

The MSBC, which is part of an expanded Savannah Small Business Week this year, will feature a Pre-Conference Small Business Forum and Job Fair hosted by the Savannah Area Chamber of Commerce on April 29. The conference itself will kick off on April 30 with workshops and presentations, including the 11th Annual State of Small Business where local business leaders will provide insights into Savannah’s economy and its small business landscape.

Carver State Bank has been announced as the title sponsor for the Mayor’s Small Business Conference. Attendees will also have the opportunity to participate in a networking event called the “Reverse Trade Show” to promote their business services.

Additionally, on May 1, the City of Savannah Purchasing Department will host a Procurement Breakfast to educate participants on doing business with the City and upcoming projects.

Business owners and entrepreneurs interested in attending the MSBC and other Savannah Small Business Week events can register online. The events will take place at various locations in Savannah, including the Enmarket Arena and Armstrong Center.
