SAVANNAH – The City of Savannah's Human Services department has announced its plans to host the first "Coming Together for the Future of Our Community" roundtable on May 4 at the Coastal Georgia Center. This event aims to bring residents together to discuss ways to enhance their neighborhoods and foster community leadership.
According to the press release, the roundtable will provide attendees with the opportunity to improve their skills as community leaders and collaborate on strategies for building stronger neighborhoods. The event will be facilitated by Lillian Grant Baptiste, who will guide the discussions and activities throughout the morning.
In addition to the valuable discussions and networking opportunities, participants can also look forward to starting the day with a continental breakfast, which will be served at 8:30 a.m.
The "Coming Together for the Future of Our Community" roundtable is scheduled to take place on Saturday, May 4, 2024, from 9 a.m. to noon at the Coastal Georgia Center located at 305 Fahm St.
