The City of Savannah, led by Mayor Van R. Johnson, II, will host a special event to honor local native and Super Bowl Champion Nolan Smith, Jr. Smith, who plays as an outside linebacker for the Philadelphia Eagles, will be recognized on Monday, March 31, 2025. The ceremony is set to occur at 2:45 p.m. at the Southbridge Savannah Golf Club, located at 415 Southbridge Boulevard.
This occasion will coincide with Nolan Smith, Jr.’s Charity Golf Tournament, an initiative of the Nolan Smith Foundation. The foundation is known for its dedication to encouraging youth and promoting positive community growth. The press conference will spotlight Smith's significant NFL accomplishments, his ties to Savannah, and his philanthropic efforts through his foundation.
