Buddy Carter, a U.S. Congress member representing Georgia’s 1st district, shared several insights and updates through his tweets. On April 10, 2025, he expressed his support for local golfers participating in a notable tournament, shared progress on a significant budget blueprint in Congress, and discussed his involvement with a professional medical organization.

On April 10, 2025, Buddy Carter extended well-wishes to golfers from Georgia participating in the Masters Tournament. He tweeted, "Good luck to all our #Dawgs and #GA01 golfers competing in @TheMasters this weekend!"

Later that day, Carter shared news of the House GOP's budget blueprint progression. In his post, he announced, "PASSED: The @HouseGOP Budget blueprint. Let’s get to work saving taxpayer dollars and preventing the largest tax hike in history!"

Buddy Carter has been serving in U.S. Congress since 2015, following his predecessor Jack Kingston. Previously, he was a member of the Georgia House of Representatives and the Georgia Senate. He was born in Port Wentworth, Georgia, and currently resides in Pooler. Carter holds a BS degree from the University of Georgia, earned in 1980.
