Benedictine Military School Cadets in the AP Environmental Science class of Mr. Drew Schwalbe ‘90 started their owl pellet lab today. Cadets are tasked with dissection of owl pellets to identify skulls of prey that the owls eat. After dissection, Cadets follow a dichotomous chart to identify distinguishing characteristics of each animal and will have to present their findings. Cadets will use this information to understand how energy is passed from prey to predators among the trophic levels. Special thanks to Mr. Schwalbe for the photos. #thebc400 #LearnMore
