“These are Savannah’s economic leaders, right here in our gym, and they are searching for you,” Mr. Mike Carbo, Benedictine Military School Class of 1976, shouted to Cadets as they entered BC Gym for BC Career Services’ first BC Career Fair on Friday. Mr. Carbo is working to build rapport with businesses in Savannah and surrounding areas that offer internship, co-op, or other work pathways so as to create opportunities for Cadets to explore and experience various potential jobs/careers.
Thank you to the nearly two dozen local businesses that participated by sending representatives to talk with our current Cadets, as well as alumni. Many of our seniors, whether they will be attending college full-time or entering the world of work after graduation, inquired about full-time positions. Other seniors asked about part-time employment that they can do as college students. Juniors, sophomores, and freshmen also gathered information as they begin to look for summer jobs.
