The City of Savannah, in partnership with the Lite Foot Environmental Foundation, will mark the 25th annual Earth Day Savannah on April 25 at Daffin Park, regardless of weather conditions.

This festival is designed to celebrate local environmental sustainability efforts and increase awareness of eco-friendly products, practices, and services through various activities and on-site vendors. Described as Savannah's largest environmental outreach event, it is also one of Georgia's most significant educational gatherings related to Earth Day.

Participants can expect a range of activities including educational and interactive exhibits, live music, workshops, demonstrations, indigo dye stations, face painting, a community drop-off station, and a repair tent. This year’s Vendor Village will include 35 nonprofit organizations providing educational resources, along with eight vendors featuring sustainable products and services.

The event is free to the public, with volunteer positions still open. Those interested in volunteering can visit earthdaysavannah.com for more information.

The event details are as follows:

What: Earth Day Savannah

When: Friday, April 25, from 4 p.m. to 7:30 p.m.

The Lite Foot Environmental Foundation is focused on addressing the dependency on plastic and single-use products to ensure a sustainable future.
