Cost of college was unchanged for all students at Empire Beauty School-Savannah

Tuition and fees were unchanged for 2018-19 at Empire Beauty School-Savannah, according to recent data from the U.S. Department of Education.

Georgia students paid $19,260 to attend the private for-profit school in both the 2017-18 and 2018-19 academic years.

Data shows 83 percent of full-time undergraduates who started school in 2015-16 received student financial aid in some form. In all, 20 students received grants or scholarships totaling $98,840 and 20 students took out student loans totaling more than $170,000.

Including all undergraduates (100), 100 students used grants or scholarships totaling $443,897, and 82 students took out $729,503 in federal student loans.
